"BANGERANG QUIKPIC held form well enough 2nd up to finish 1.3 lens away from Royal Ida over 1200m. That run followed a similar 0.8 lens 4th behind Keano over 1000m. Better suited today over the 1600m and we should see the 5yo return to the winners enclosure."

NEWS ALERT has won 2 races at Canterbury and 3 races over the 1100m. The 5yo is holding form well and if able to handle the lights, then is a definite chance. The C. Karakatsanis trained gelding is at our required odds in early markets.

“LORDS RANSOM is racing very well. Only had the two starts from a 10 month spell but they have been encouraging.” We had him as our 2nd elect behind hot-pot Scenic Shot. If any of the Whip's top 3 runners is paying 1.5 times Our Odds on the TAB's  then it becomes a Standout or Banker horse. Members are to include ALL Whip horses out to 50/1 for the 2nd line and all horses out to 100/1 on the 3rd and 4th lines

INNINGS (our 3rd favourite to win Race 8) scores at $18.60 and provides a Trifecta of $2,462 and a First 4 returning $39479.60

While the outsiders are winning, we've decided to revert to our traditional method of pricing. This was the method that made us Australia's Most Profitable Ratings Service for 4 straight years...so why change a winning formula.   As an example EFFICIENT at 25/1 in our book, would have been a value bet under our previous betting recommendations. Normally we would take all horses out to 33/1 (At Our Price) as the cut-off point in our quest for value runners.

There were few highlights for members.  The tide will turn back into the members favour. October and November are normally very good months as we gain a more reliable database of recent Spring Carnival runs.

THERE WERE ONLY 3 RACES WORTH ATTACKING LAST SATURDAY AND OUR ADVICE LINE CLINCHED 2 FIRST 4's, 2 TRIFECTAS AND 2 QUINELLAS.

1902 callers to our Trifecta & First 4 hotline got the good oil. First recommended bet for the day. Advice was to "Bank/Standout both No.9 Vandalo (2nd) and No.11 Leica Larrikin to win in Melb.R.7 with 9,11,4,2,1,10 (Acosta 3rd),5,3,6,7 and do throw in No.12 (Kaavert 4th) onto the 4th line if having a First 4."  Fabulous start as the 1902 numbers were just re-activated last weekend for the up-coming Spring Carnival. Top Race members didn't miss out as this was also our 'Top Race' for the day.

Very next race 30 minutes later was another F4 in the Adel. Spring Stakes. It paid $1,246. SMS members were advised to "Bank/Standout Midnight Mustang" and told to include the 2nd, 3rd & 4th horse so they didn't it. 

New approach. Our research team have decided to reduce the number of bets in particular races. With 52-54% strike rate overall from our top 3 horses, we decided to eliminate horses above 17/1 as betting propositions. SMS members will note that they will get more horses that might have once been termed 'too short' for betting purposes. While at the same time, get less longshots in which we might have had a saver bet on in the past. We have the technology to profit even when the price about our Top 3 horses is below our "Notes of the Day" nominated price.

Toowoomba Cushion Track was a big hit. Two races and two winners. Our analysis proved spot on.

Voice Commander wins the Weetwood as our $4 fav.. SMS sent " Bet 40 Units"  Paid $4.90 so it qualified under the previous betting approach. Easy $1,037 F4 with our top 6 in our price order. We recommend you Bank / Standout the top horses and take down to around 33/1 for 2nd, 3rd and 4th as a miminum bet. Some like to expand that out to 100/1 for 3rd, 200/1 for 4th line etc.

Jussemi was another No.1 elect to win when getting home brilliantly to win the Toowoomba Cup. We wanted $4.50 but happy to settle for $4 on VicTAB. Other TAB's the price was lower. SMS sent " Bet 45 Units" 

Under the New Approach we don't like to leave out our No.1 elect or our No.2 elect if the price isn't ridiculously short.  In the past far too many of our Favourites won without us supporting them. This will change in the future. The balancing act is knowing when the price is simply too short for the risk to profit on. i.e. Risk does not equate to the Investment required.

Hissing Sid has raced very well in his last 2 outings winning over 1600m and getting to within 1 len of much improved Down Under Boy over 1800m last start. That run followed a 4 week freshening and the Warrnambool trained 4yo should be further improved by the hit-out. SMS sent ‘Bet 105 Units’

Imashadow was a slick 3rd to El Mandon with subsequent winner Masked Assasin splitting them. Drawn the outside fence today and if our theory is right with the wind direction, then he should get a good run throughout. SMS sent ‘Bet 20 Units’

Swiss Ace is back home and ready to return to the winner’s list. Recent form is far superior to this opposition. Love the early odds and hopefully they hold up come race time. SMS sent ‘Bet 110 Units’

Chasm has the far superior form at this point of time. Cannot see him getting beaten but it is a horse race so 1 of 1000 things can go wrong. Still on form @ weights, with Brad Rawiller engaged – it’s almost impossible to bet against him. SMS sent ‘Bet 75 Units’

"DAKA'S GEM was inconvenienced inside the 200m yet held on to finish 3.3 lens behind Road To Rock in Dead (4) ground at Flemington over 2000m last outing. Has a good strike rate in Slow (2 from 3) and Heavy (1 from 2) ground and could be ready to show his best."
